The Manitoba U18 AAA Hockey League is pleased to announce Ethan Stewart of the Brandon Wheat Kings is the CCM Hockey Player of the Week, for the week ending December 10. In the two road games this week, Ethan scored 4 goals, which including a hat trick, and added one assist for a 5 point week. During Tuesday’s contest vs the Yellowhead Chiefs, Ethan found the net 3 times and added an assist in a 6-1 win. Then on Saturday Ethan found the net again in a 4-0 win over the 5th placed Winnipeg Wild. Ethan, a 16-year-old Grade 11 student in his second year with the team, is currently 9th in league scoring with 14 Goals and 12 Assists for 26 points. He is an Assistant Captain for the Wheat Kings and has been a huge part of his team holding on to 1st place in the league with an 19-0-1 record. Ethan is listed by the Brandon Wheat Kings of the WHL and was drafted 7th overall to the Dauphin Kings of the MJHL.
